I love this book! This book is so cute! The sentences are easy and repeated. The words are very less in this book. The pictures show everything. And every pages of the pictures are a continuity. Be more precisely, a page doesn't show a full action. You have to turn to the next page to see what's going on and then next page. One by one... It is like I am reading a comic book which has big pictures. One page only has one picture. The pictures show a sequence of moves. I can imagine a cartoon in my mind. Lastly, the end of this story is very interesting. The toy plane is stuck like the beginning. It makes me wonder how will they solve this problem. This book is really lovely.

End- Snow White and the repoter get married.
Conflict- The protagonist against antagonist
Theme- Dont be jealous of someone and be a nice person.
Style- Words are easy
- Sentences are short
Tone- Parody
This version of Snow White is cool. The background of this story is set in the big city, New York. And the magic mirror in the original story becomes a company of newspaper. The prince becomes a reporter. The hunter becomes a bodyguard. The 7 dwarfs become 7 jazz-men. Every thing becomes modern which is really interesting. And all the backgrounds in the pictures are geometries and lines. The colors are simple but strong. The color changes with the plot. For example, when Snow White is dead, the colors are dark and sad, and in the happy end, the color turn into warm, bright and happy. The drawing style is like comic style. There is an interesting thing in the end. It says Snow White and the reporter get married and go to a honeymoon. There is not any word mentions the step mother. But we can know that she is arrested through the picture which is very small on the page.

Edward Lear was an English poet and he was famous for his nonsense poem. He wrote this poem for his 3-year-old daughter. So the words are simple and the tone is humorous. This poem is about the love between the owl and the pussy cat. There are four animals in this poem- an owl, a cat, a pig and a turkey and the owl is the the main male character. The cat is the main female character. They are a couple who is going to get married. The pig sells his ring for one shilling to the couple. The turkey witnesses their marriage. In the end, they live a happy life together. I like this poem so much because it makes me smile. I feel happiness in this poem.
In this poem, there is a vocabulary, "runcible", is invited by Lear. This term appeared in his poem many times.
The pictures in this book are colorful vivid and I really like them.

The most distinguishing thing in this children's book is having end rhymes. Most rhymes are on the even sentences. Moreover, there are many repeated sentences. And through the two tricks, children can learn many things' names like rake, tail, fan, and gown. The description of the two tricks are mimic. Lastly, the most interesting thing in this book is the end. In the end, the boy throws a question to the readers. He asks readers what we would do if mom asks us what happened when she was not home. And you know if you tell the truth, mom may get angry. So "what would you do if your mother asked you?"

Theme- Be a good person
Style- Words are not easy
- Most of sentences are long

Tone- An easy-understood bible
To be honest, as a children's book, it is not so funny. However, it is a good way to make children understand the story in Bible which I think is quite important because Bible is a part of western culture and religion. The pictures in this book look peaceful. Just like the people's impression of God. The colors are light and the faces on the character are calm. There is one interesting thing is that there are many pictures of animals.
